Update:  By 11 a.m. Tuesday morning RCMP re-opened the highway.

RCMP say Highway 11 southbound is closed so officers can conduct an investigation after an accident earlier Tuesday morning. Warman Fire and Rescue, on a social media post, indicate it was a car-pedestrian collision on Highway 11 just south of Warman.

The accident happened at Highway 11 near the junction of Highway 784. Central Street in Warman becomes Highway 784 where you turn to go to Saskatoon.

Traffic is being detoured and motorists are asked to follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene. Warman Fire and Rescue say STARS and Medavie Health Services West attended the accident and treated a patient on scene.
