Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section is investigating after a homicide occurred Saturday morning.
At 6:46 am, patrol officers responded to a call of an injured man in a home in the 200 block of Avenue K North.
Police say they located a 48-year-old Saskatoon man who had suffered a gunshot wound and had succumbed to the injury.
Through further investigation, a 21-year-old Saskatoon man, who is known to the victim, was identified as the suspect. He has since been arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder in Saskatoon’s second homicide of 2024.
