Regina man arrested following vehicle theft

A 20-year-old Regina man is facing several charges following a report of a stolen vehicle early this morning.

At 1:40 a.m., the owner of a 2010 Ford Edge reported her vehicle was just stolen from the Hillsdale neighbourhood. Members of the Regina Police Service say they located the vehicle parking on Ottawa Street near Victoria Avenue.

A lone male occupant exited the vehicle and began walking away. Police officers approached the man and told him he was under arrest. He fled on foot and after a short foot chase was taken into custody without incident.

Bryce Marshalsay will appear in Regina Provincial Court on March 28.
