Several salad kits from Dole and President’s Choice are being recalled for possible Listeria contamination.
The affected products include the Dole Avocado Ranch Chop Kit with best before dates from February 6th until February 20th, the Dole Southwest Salad Supreme Kit with a best before date between February 3rd and February 18th, and the President’s Choice Southwest Salad Kit with all best before dates up until February 18th.
These salads used cheese recalled by Rizo-López Foods, Inc. in association with an outbreak investigation in the United States.
If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider. Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
