It is the fourth consecutive record year with agri-food exports totaling $20.2 billion.
Wheat topped the list of agri-food exports at $3.8 billion, followed by canola seed at $3.5 billion and canola oil at $3.2 billion respectively.
The United States is our province’s number one customer for agricultural commodities with purchases hitting $6.7 billion. China was next at $4.3 billion and Japan rounding out the top three at $987 million.

- Non-durum Wheat: 8,382,185 metric tonnes ($3.8 billion)
- Canola Oil: 1,161,148 metric tonnes ($3.5 billion)
- Canola seed: 3,726,640 metric tonnes ($3.2 billion)
- Durum: 3,541,453 metric tonne: ($2.0 billion)
- Lentils: 1,692,780 metric tonne, ($2.0 billion)
- Canola Meal: 2,202,895 metric tonnes ($1.2 billion)
- Dry Peas: 1,619,511 metric tonnes ($985 million)
- Barley: 1,265,933 metric tonnes, ($578 million)
- Soybeans: 738,123 metric tonnes ($532 million)
- Oats: 902,806 metric tonnes ($359 million)
