Today (Sat) and tomorrow, the Native Plant Society of Saskatchewan is holding their Annual General Meeting and conference in Regina.
Although Saskatchewan is referred to as a prairie province, about half of it is covered in forests, hence this year’s theme ‘Forests Forever”.
Numerous speakers will dive into topics such as wildfires, conservation, the value of forests, and the province’s diverse array of ecosystems.
Tomorrow (Sunday), participants will be engaging in the Forest Ecosystems learning module of the Saskatchewan Master Naturalist Program.
