An incident in Deschambault Lake is generating increased police presence in the community.

Deschambault Lake RCMP have taken a suspect into custody pending further investigation. Officers do not believe there is any imminent public safety risk associated with this incident, however if one is identified, the public will be immediately notified. Residents are asked to stay away from areas where police are present and follow any direction provided by officers.
