Saskatchewan has been slotted into Pool A and will play Prince Edward Island on the opening draw of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in the evening of Friday, February 16 in Calgary.
Skylar Ackerman’s (pictured) Saskatoon-Nutana foursome was seeded ninth for the 18-team Canadian women’s curling championship field and are joined in Pool A by the defending champion quartet skipped by Kerri Einarson of Gimli, Manitoba, plus squads from Manitoba, Alberta, B-C, Northern Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador plus P-E-I.
