The Saskatoon Blades made one more deal before the W-H-L’s Trade Deadline passed, and it was a multi-team swap.
The Bridge City Bunch acquired 19-year-old defenceman John Babcock from Kelowna while the Rockets get 18-year-old blue-liner Carter Kowalyk from Edmonton and the Oil Kings receive 17-year-old rearguard Ismail Abougouche from Kelowna. Four draft picks also changed hands, two of them coming from the Blue and Gold to the Rockets and a third from the Blades to Edmonton while the Oil Kings added a draft pick to Kelowna.
