Nipawin RCMP ask for public’s help after man found stabbed New Year’s morning

Nipawin RCMP have made a public appeal after finding a man injured outside on a sidewalk New Year’s morning. Police responded around 2:45 a.m. near a business in the 300 block of 1st Avenue East in Nipawin. The injured man was taken to hospital with what are described as serious injuries as a result of a stabbing.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to help determine how the man got to the area and/or how he was injured.
