The Regina Police Service has provided an update on last week’s motor vehicle-pedestrian collision. Police say that the man who was hit has since died.
On the evening of Wednesday, December 20, at 6:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of 13th Avenue and Cameron Street. Information received indicated that a pedestrian crossing the street had been struck by a vehicle. It has not yet been determined what charges, if any, will result pending the outcome of the investigation.
Meanwhile, Saskatoon Police have not indicated the status of two pedestrians who were hit by a train at 20th Street West and Avenue K South in the early morning Saturday. The advisory of traffic restrictions was issued at 2:54 a.m. The only other update provided was that traffic restrictions were lifted.
