On Thursday around 9:15 a.m. Yorkton RCMP conducted a welfare check at a home on 6th Avenue North in Yorkton where they located a deceased male.

Due to the circumstances of the incident, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating the male’s death, which is considered a homicide. The Saskatchewan Coroners Service is working to positively identify the victim.

RCMP are also working to locate 61-year-old Donna Spilchen (Radom) to confirm her safety. Donna is described as approximately 5′ and 120 lbs. She has black hair. Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is asking residents to report all information about her whereabouts immediately.

RCMP is also asking anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity, or captured video surveillance footage, in the area of 6th Avenue North in Yorkton in the early hours of November 30, to contact them.
