Accessible loading zones have been installed at several Saskatoon locations to ensure that people with limited mobility can access the city’s services with ease.
The accessible loading zones are located at Sutherland Elementary School and Luther Special Care Home, and one more will be installed at Sturdy Stone Centre in the coming year.
The zones, which are part of a pilot project, include accessibility ramps, clear side zones, and dimensions for accommodating read and side-loading vehicles.
