A Christopher Lake man has become Saskatchewan’s latest millionaire. The top grand prize winner of $1 million in the Roughrider & Children’s Hospital Foundations Lottery is Jason Zawerucka. He says he hadn’t bought any lottery tickets in a long time and just thought it was time to start again. He found the Roughrider & Children’s Hospital Foundations’ Lottery page and figured it would be a good thing to support.
The Halftime 50/50 reached over $1 million and Anita Ford of Regina wins half that jackpot. A news release from the two Foundations says there are over 1,000 prizes in this lottery worth over $2 million and for the first time, there were ten grand prizes including the top grand prize of $1 million cash.
