The drivers of two vehicles in an accident on Highway 4 near Lac Pelletier last night (Tues) were declared dead at the scene by EMS. Swift Current Rural RCMP responded around 8:15 to a report of an accident involving a truck and a minivan. An RCMP news release says the driver of the truck was an 82-year-old man from Neville, which is east of Lac Pelletier. His passenger was treated at hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van was a 35-year-old man from Cadillac. With the help of an RCMP collision reconstructionist, the investigation continues.
