Regina Police investigate homicide of 61-year-old man

The Regina Police Service has confirmed that an investigation into a seriously injured male is now a homicide investigation. This is the eighth homicide in Regina in 2023.

Police were called to the 1900 block of Montreal Street shortly after 6:30 a.m. yesterday, and initial investigation indicated there was an injured man lying outside a home.

The man was transported to hospital but succumbed to the injuries.

The victim is a 61-year-old man, and his name is not being released at this time.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Regina Police Service or Regina Crime Stoppers.
