After tracking a stolen skid steer to a garage in Moose Jaw, Moose Jaw Police say they also located two suspects and a substantial amount of drugs, cash as well as an imitation firearm.
In total, 439 grams of Fentanyl was seized. Moose Jaw Police say fentanyl is commonly broken up into “points” for use, which is 0.1 grams. When broken up into individual doses, the total street value of the fentanyl seized is in excess of $175,000. In addition, 51.9 grams of Cocaine was found with an approximate street value of $5,200, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia, and $4,640 of Canadian currency.
Police also discovered approximately one-kilogram of an unknown substance which they are currently working to identify. Thirty-nine-year-old Martina Valentini of Calgary and 38-year-old Chad Gienow of Moose Jaw are facing numerous charges in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Wednesday facing almost two dozen weapons, drug and possession of stolen property charges.
