Canfax reports the only weight category with a price decline was 300-400 pound heifers, while 300-to-400 pound steers had the largest prices increase and broke above the $500 per hundredweight average.
Saskatchewan feeder cattle sales were 12,049 head last week compared to 11,292 marketed during the previous week. Year-to-date Saskatchewan feeder cattle marketings are three percent higher than last year at 294,779 head.

Brenna Grant is the Executive Director of Canfax and was asked about where the market goes from here.
