The Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre has begun a partnership with Saskatoon Co-op and Federated Co-operatives Limited to enhance the services the Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre offers.
A joint news release says the partnership includes funding to support the delivery and development of community services related to weather strategies, survivor and hygiene packs, and to help buy a van for mobile services.
Along with providing funding, team members from Saskatoon Co-op will be volunteering to support the Friendship Centre’s vital food security and basic needs programming.
