Because July 1st falls on a Saturday, the City of Saskatoon has adjusted civic services for both Canada Day and Monday.
City Hall is closed Monday.
The Remai Modern is open today, but is closed on Monday, while it’s the opposite for Saskatoon Public Library locations.
They are closed today and open on Monday.
Saskatoon Transit will be running its regular holiday service on Saturday until 9 p.m.
Then, after the fireworks downtown, free buses will be available from locations on either side of the river.
The City is not charging for its parking on Saturday or Monday, but reminds drivers that all other parking requirements remain in effect, including parking time limits.
MUNICIPAL IMPOUND LOT
– Open for regular business on Saturday, July 1 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
– Vehicles will not be released to the public on Monday, July 3.
WASTE COLLECTIONS

– The Landfill is open over the July long weekend from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The compost depots are open over the July long weekend with normal operating hours.
– West Compost Depot – open 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
– East Compost Depot – open Thursday to Monday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WOODLAWN CEMETERY
– The cemetery office is closed on Monday, July 3
– Cemetery grounds are open to the public 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily as per usual
