A Kerrobert resident has died after being involved in a collision with a semi truck in Lloydminster.

On Friday at 1:34pm, Lloydminster RCMP responded to the collision at the intersection of 67th Avenue and 75th Street. Through investigation, officers determined that a Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound and failed to stop at a stop sign. The semi, traveling eastbound, collided with the Jeep as a result.

The driver, a 30-year-old from Kerrobert, was deceased when found, and the semi driver was not injured.

The RCMP continue to investigate.
