The number of wildfires burning around Saskatchewan has maintained at 19, from Saturday. There are five not contained, 10 under ongoing assessment, and three where the focus is to protect valuable property in the area. There are air quality statements across the province in areas such as Fond-du-Lac, Stony Rapids, Ile a la Crosse, Buffalo Narrows, Beauval, Uranium City and Wollaston Lake. Alberta now has 53 wildfires burning, up 3 from yesterday, with 23 of them being under control. Fourteen are out of control, and 16 are being held.
