The Regina Police Service, working in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, say a death investigation has now been ruled a homicide.
The man found severely injured, and later deceased at a residence in Regina on Saturday has been identified through investigation.
On Saturday at 12:59pm, police were dispatched to a trailer in the Glen Elm Trailer Court. Inside, police reported an injured man, and EMS arrived to attend him. At 1:07pm, the man was pronounced dead, and a death investigation began.
Police say the man has been identified as a 40-year-old Regina resident. Next of kin were notified, and the name of the man will not be released at this time. Anyone with information about the incident are to contact the Regina Police or Crime Stoppers.
