The Kinsmen Home Lottery is in full swing, and Friday was the VIP Prize Deadline. Early ticket purchasers have a chance to win the Sun or Snow VIP Prize. This includes a choice between an Okanagan Valley vineyard tour or a trip to Whistler for a mountain adventure for four guests. There is also a third prize option of $5000 cash. Buying a ticket before the end of the day will also ensure that you are in to win the Garden Island Bonus Prize, or $10,000 cash, and the Truck and Tofino Early Bird Prize, or $70,000 cash. The actual deadline for this earlybird prize is May 5th.

Tickets are $100 each, and proceeds support education, athletics, music, arts, care for the elderly and those with special needs in the community, as well as provide food and clothing to those who need it most. The grand prize show home is located in the neighborhood of Varsity View. It features 25-foot ceilings, sky lights, a fireplace feature wall, and an indoor gym.
