Monday marks exactly six years since Happy Charles disappeared from Prince Albert.
To commemorate and raise awareness about her disappearance, Happy’s family, along with police and community members will be participating in a walk beginning at 10:00am. The walk will begin near the Prince Albert Collegiate Institute, the area where Happy was last seen, and continue along 22nd Street, heading West toward the PAGC billboard. October 4th is the National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQ+.
On that day last year, the Prince Albert Police Service and Happy’s family released a new video and another appeal for information. Happy has brown eyes and black hair and a scar on her left cheek. She also has a tattoo of a rose on her right hand. Investigators with the Prince Albert Police Service are continuing actively investigate the disappearance of Happy Charles, and officers encourage anyone with information on her disappearance to contact police or crime stoppers.
