A Regina man is facing child porn charges in connection to an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit that started in January of this year.
On Thursday, members of the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Regina.
Twenty-six-year-old Chancelier Deneyou was charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Make Available Child Pornography.
The accused was released from custody on numerous conditions until his next court appearance on May 17, 2023.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
