All night SaskTel customers across the province were experiencing issues when placing calls.

It affected the ability to reach 911 or local RCMP detachments.

The RCMP issued an advisory shortly before 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning indicating that SaskTel had resolved the issue.

While the problems were occurring callers may not have heard a response after the call was seemingly answered, and the line may also have disconnected.

Saskatchewan RCMP say if you have problems when making a call, still call 911 in an emergency. If the call disconnects, the operator will still have a phone number and location and can send police.
