It was a record crowd last night at the 26th Annual NSBA Business Builder Awards.
Business owners, government officials and employees gathered to celebrate business achievement.
The Business Builder Award went to The Saskatoon Club and the Shirley Ryan Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Kanchan Manek. Kanchan Manek is Secretary of the Board of Directors and Raj Manek Mentorship Program Coordinator and arranges all mentor/protégé matches and monthly seminars. The Raj Manek Mentorship Program is a non-profit organization, 100 per cent volunteer-run which has sponsored more than 531 mentorship relationships.
Nine of 13 awards are selected by an independent panel of judges. The Member of the year and Lifetime Achievement awards are selected by the NSBA Board. The Business Builder Award and the Young Promising Entrepreneur Award are selected fan vote at the actual awards event.
