Residents of the Maidstone RCMP detachment area and surrounding communities are being cautioned by police about a 45-year-old man considered to be at high risk to breach his conditions involving youth. Sir Brent Adair Habetler is charged with committing an indecent act in the presence of one or more persons.
On March 13th, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a man committing an indecent act at Bioclean Aquatics Center. RCMP say he was released from custody the next day appearing before a Justice of the Peace and a short time later, officers found him outside a local daycare, which was a breach of his conditions. He was taken back before a Justice of the Peace and remanded in custody until his court appearance on the 15th.
Habetler’s conditions include no communication, directly or indirectly with anyone under 16, other than incidental contact with customers at his workplace or who are employed at other places of business as long as such contact is necessary to conduct transactions. He also is not allowed to attend any public swimming area, school or school yard, playground, youth shelter or public library.
If you see him violating his conditions, you are asked to call the RCMP. Lloydminster RCMP believe there may be more victims and encourage them to come forward.
