Police responded to a Break and Enter in progress in the Northwest area of Moose Jaw at 3:30 Sunday morning.
A suspect vehicle was located by police, but it quickly fled the scene. Police say a traffic stop was then attempted, but it was unsuccessful as the vehicle fled at high speeds.
A tire deflation device was used to end the pursuit in the downtown area, and the vehicle search that followed resulted in the recovery of a loaded 12-gauge shotgun and other stolen items.
Two men were arrested and face several charges, including Break and Enter, Theft, Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, several firearms offences, and breach of court orders. Both men will remain in custody until their court appearance on Monday.
