The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Saskatoon man with luring, sexual assault, sexual interference, and child pornography offences.

The investigation began December 22nd and Thursday members of the ICE unit executed a search warrant at a home in Saskatoon in connection to the investigation.

As a result, 44-year-old Jeric Villareal Mendoza was charged on January 5th with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Accessing Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, Make Child Pornography, and Luring a Child.

He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on January 10th.
