A new partnership has been forged in Regina to improve access to supportive housing for those at risk of homelessness.
Saskatchewan Housing Corporation has provided Phoenix Residential Society with a 24-unit building to support their clients.
Staff will be available 24/7 for onsite support and Regina Housing Authority will manage the building maintenance.
Phoenix Residential Society is a non-profit community-based health care organization that provides rehabilitation services to those who struggle with housing or who have psychiatric disorders, addictions issues, acquired brain injury or cognitive disabilities.
Funding or this project comes from the federal government’s Reach Home program, with the goal of preventing and reducing homelessness across the country.
