The 22-year-old woman charged with manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Hodan Hashi at Lit Nightclub on Saturday has been granted bail. Paige Theriault-Fisher was released on $5,000 bail and under the conditions she stay away from drugs and alcohol, and she can’t have any contact with the victim’s immediate family or anyone who shared videos of the fight. She is also under a curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Theriault-Fisher was originally charged with 2nd degree murder.
Around 2:40 Saturday morning, Saskatoon Police responded to Lit Nightclub, which is above Crazy Cactus in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue. Officers report that despite lifesaving efforts from paramedics, Hodan Hashi died. Police say the two knew each other. Theriault-Fisher’s next court date is December 15th.
