A magical collection of enchanted characters attended the the charity event on Saturday evening—everything from wizards and centaurs to lions and other creatures.
Proceeds raised will help fund much-need new state-of-the-art equipment and other enhancements to Royal University Hospital’s (RUH) current operating rooms and related areas. RUH surgical teams do many of the province’s most complex and specialized types of surgeries involving the heart, brain, spine and cancers in operating rooms built in 1978.
The RUH Foundation Royal Wizard’s Chronicle Ball raised $300,772 with the assistance of a matching grant by event sponsor Nutrien.
Since 1983, RUH Foundation has raised and invested, through the generosity of donors, over $155 million for innovative research, education and patient care at Royal University Hospital.
