Megan Gallagher

The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section has arrested an eighth person in connection to the investigation of Megan Gallagher, reported missing two years ago. This morning (Thurs), investigators went to a correctional facility on the Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation and charged a 34 year old man with unlawful confinement and aggravated assault. He was in jail on an unrelated sentence when he was arrested.

It is expected Robin Tyler John will make his first court appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court tomorrow (fri). Thomas Richard Sutherland faces the same charges and was arrested on Tuesday. Two people, Cheyann Crystal Peeteetuce and Robert (Bobby) James Thomas, are charged with first degree murder and four people are facing charges of indignity to human remains.
