The seventh season of Mini Fridge Theatre Company begins on September 30th with a new caterer, new actors and a new set of four comedies. See How They Run will be performed on select dates at St. John’s Anglican Hall between the 30th and October 15th. One of the founding members, Michael Neuert, says See How They Run takes place in a small British town in a vicarage, and includes a nosy neighbour, stolen identity, and lots of mixups, just like a true British farce.
Director and co-founder, Terry Schroell, says Mini Fridge gives people an opportunity to enjoy themselves, laugh with others, and forget about their daily stresses while enjoying a fantastic meal. The name Mini Fridge Theatre is a unique one. Neuert explains that they were trying to come up with a name for their company and someone said it could be anything. Then as a joke Mini Fridge was cited as an option, and that’s how the name came to be.
The company’s goal is to cultivate and showcase local actors, directors, set artists, and all of the other skills involved in theatre. For tickets and more information on the plays this season, click on the link with this story online.
