Although a Saskatchewan family has been left with nothing after an EF3-rated tornado swept through the southeast on Tuesday, local residents have stepped up to help fill the void via GoFundMe.
Danny and Chelsea Brock and their children survived the storm without injury, however they lost their home, shops, and barns in minutes, according to a GoFundMe posting created by Chelsea’s brother-in-law, James Henderson.
Grain bins were tossed across the property, near Oxbow, and their farm equipment is now heavily damaged at a very inopportune time.
In the last several days, the GoFundMe has surpassed the original goal of $50,000 raised, which has since been raised to $65,000.
The post remains online for those who’d still like to reach out with a donation.
