Saskatchewan RCMP have posted on Facebook that due to recent storms, about 30 to 50 yearling bison have breached their fenced area and are roaming between Melville and Yorkton. They have been spotted along Highway 10 between the two cities and between Highway 10 and 47, and as far north as Highway 52. The social media post says they are young and don’t know where to go.

A group of ranchers is trying to round up the bison. If you see one of them, RCMP advise not to approach and instead call the Melville RCMP.
