Tourism Saskatoon began a new chapter of their existence today (weds).
The tourism organization will now be known as Discover Saskatoon.
CEO, Steph Clovechok unveiled the new look at Monday’s planning and development committee meeting.
She says as tourism and Saskatoon evolve, it was time for them to do the same.
“Our re-brand is more than it looks. It is an invitation to discover, to delight in the sights, sounds, tastes and feelings of Saskatoon that make it such a wonderful place to visit, live, learn, work and play.”
Tourism Saskatoon, a name they have gone by for 45 years, officially became Discover Saskatoon during a ceremony today (wed) at Remai Modern where Tribal Chief Mark Arcand said part of the vision going forward is building on Indigenous tourism.
With the re-branding is a new logo designed to reflect the spirit of Treaty 6.
