A multi-function emergency tool sold by Princess Auto is being recalled because of the potential for it to fail during an emergency.

The tool features an LED light, a seat belt cutter, a window breaker, a torch light and contains a magnet base. The issue is the plastic threads on the battery compartment of this multi-function emergency tool were not properly moulded. This may cause the end with the seat belt cutter to come off, preventing the tool from being used correctly during an emergency.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Multi-Function Emergency Tool and return it to Princess Auto Limited for a full refund.
