SaskPower announces their new President and CEO

After a nationwide search, SaskPower has found their new President and CEO.

Effective July 1st, Rupen Pandya will become the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Pandya has previously worked for the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, Ministry of Social Services and for the Ministry of Advanced Education prior to taking on more senior roles.

He has held Assistant Deputy Minister positions with both the Ministry of Advanced Education and with the Ministry of Economy before becoming the President and CEO of SaskBuilds for five years.

In 2017, Pandya was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance. The Regina native still resides in the Queen City with his wife, Terri and their two daughters.
