There is a frost advisory in effect for the western half of the province from the U.S. border all the way north to the Meadow Lake and Big River areas and further East to Prince Albert and Shellbrook. Saskatoon is included in this advisory.
Environment Canada warns that frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas. The high pressure system from Alberta which is bringing clear skies tonight (Tues), is also causing temperatures to fall close to the freezing mark across parts of western and central Saskatchewan.
Tomorrow night, it’s expected the cloud cover will keep temperatures warmer, so more frost advisories tomorrow aren’t anticipated. Cover up plants, especially in the frost-prone areas.
