Police are looking for 33 year old Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron, who is described as 5’6″, about 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos, including a Mayan statue on his right hand, a black rose on his left wrist and a gorilla on his upper torso. Last Thursday afternoon, police were called to a report of a man injured in the 100 block of Main Street East, and then more calls came in about shots being fired in the 700 block of Melrose Avenue. Baxandall was found dead behind an apartment building. Two men, a 25 year old and 35 year old Mohamed Ali, were also injured in this incident.
Residents living in the area enclosed by Saskatchewan Crescent East, Victoria Avenue, Main Street and the Idylwyld Drive Freeway who have security cameras, were asked last week to review their footage from between 4 and 5 Thursday afternoon for signs of suspicious activity.
