The Saskatoon Police Service says an accident involving a motorcycle yesterday evening was fatal.
Officers were called shortly after 6:00 p.m. on May 11 after receiving a report of a single motorcycle collision in the area of the Traffic Bridge and Victoria Avenue.
The 31 year old driver had suffered life threatening injuries, was transported to hospital and succumbed to those injuries.
No name is being released. Accident investigators say impairment from drug or alcohol are not contributing factors however, they have determined the motorcycle was travelling at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred.
The area reopened this morning to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
