The Saskatchewan Roughriders will play their first of two pre-season games and their first of 18 regular-season games at home.
The C-F-L released its schedule Thursday, four days after the league ended a triumphant but challenging season that followed a year off due to COVID-19. The Green and White will host reigning Grey Cup-champion Winnipeg on Victoria Day, Monday, May 23…a 3 o’clock matinee…to kick-off the C-F-L exhibition campaign. The Riders will start the regular-season at Mosaic Stadium on Saturday, June 11, against Grey Cup finalist Hamilton. Saskatchewan will also play three regular-season games against the arch-rival Blue Bombers…all in September and only one at home, that being the annual Labour Day Weekend Classic on Sunday, September 4. The playoffs get underway with the semi-finals on the first weekend of November, before the Division winners are crowned the following weekend. The 109th Grey Cup will kick off at 5 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium on November 20. Following is the news release and full Green and White schedule from the Roughriders…..
