Swift Current Rural RCMP say a 76 year old man from Shaunavon has died after his parked car was hit on Thursday afternoon south of Gull Lake. Officers responded to Highway 37 about nine kilometres south of Gull Lake. The highway was closed during the initial investigation.

Police report a southbound SUV hit the parked vehicle. The driver of the parked vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman who was the passenger in the vehicle and the driver of the SUV were both taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries. The investigation into this accident continues.
