The name of the Western 649 lottery winner in Saskatoon has been revealed. Brian Taylor won $2-million on the November 3rd draw.
He says, “I checked my numbers on the WCLC website. I just wasn’t sure about the last number, but when I saw the winning ticket was purchased in Saskatoon I thought, that must be me.”
Taylor’s plans include semi-retirement. He also plans to upgrade his wife’s vehicle and his truck. Taylor bought his winning ticket from the Shell Select at 1828 McOrmond Drive.
Last month, Matthew Poppel won $55 million with a lottery ticket he purchased at Pinnacle Gas & Food on Faithfull Avenue. Sask Lotteries said this was the second-largest jackpot won in the province’s history.
