Michael and Jessica Lovich of Balgonie own and operate Lovholm Holsteins, a 70 cow dairy that focuses on animal longevity, cow health and production.

Michael and Jessica were raised on dairy farms in Alberta and made the move to our province about five-and-a-half years ago.

The focus of Lovholm Holsteins is to continually breed conformationally superior animals and increase production traits with each cow.

The farm also hosts several school tours from Regina and enjoy engaging with consumers and educating the public.

Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers for 2021 will be chosen at the National Event held virtually December 2-3, 2021.
