Members of the newly elected Metis Nation-Saskatchewan Provincial Metis Council were sworn in this week at Batoche.
MN-S President Glen McCallum said in his inaugural address that 54 Metis citizens put their names forward for the election, which shows that people are engaged.
He looks forward to continuing the work to strengthen the government and the future of Metis people.
The Provincial Metis Council is comprised of a four-member executive, 12 regional representatives and appointees for women and youth.
