Expect to see the cost of your essential 911 services to increase on your SaskTel bill. The fee will increase from 94 cents to a dollar-eighty eight per month. This is effective next month on April 7th.
The increase is funding system upgrades for 911 technology. The provincial 911 system is funded through these fees which are applied to all phone bills.
The 911 fees have not been adjusted since January 2018.
